Rooms

The historic lodge, guest suites, and cabin accommodate up to sixteen overnight guests in seven distinctive rooms. Together they create a comfortable home base for exploring the property, sharing meals, and enjoying time in the mountains.

Rose Room

Large picture windows frame the surrounding property and often provide a front-row seat to wildlife passing through the property. Antique furnishings, a queen bed, and an en suite bath make this one of the lodge's most comfortable rooms.

Aspen Room

Named for the groves that surround Meadow Creek, the Aspen Room combines rustic mountain character with easy access to the lodge's hot tub and cedar-lined dry sauna. A original stone accent wall and log furnishings give the room its distinctly Colorado feel.

Room in the Meadow

Set apart from the main lodge, the Cabin in the Meadow offers the property's most private stay. Surrounded by open meadow and forest views, the cabin features a king bed, kitchenette, and frequent wildlife sightings just beyond the windows.

Amenities

  • There’s a private hiking trail on the property that leads to a beautiful overlook. Access the trail just past the barns. It takes about 20–30 minutes to reach the top, with the trail curving left as you climb to 8,500 feet in elevation.

  • Play horseshoes, frisbee golf, board games, puzzles, or poker with your group. Lawn games can be found out in the meadow, and games and puzzles are located in the glass cabinet in the grand room of the main lodge.

  • Unwind after a day outdoors in the hot tub on the patio deck and indoor dry saunas. A perfect way to reset after hiking, skiing, or a long day of doing absolutely nothing.

  • Plush bathrobes and towels are provided throughout the property. Each guest room includes shampoo, conditioner, and bath amenities, while kitchens and kitchenettes are stocked with complimentary coffee for a relaxed start to the day.

  • The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, cooking utensils, and a few pantry basics. BBQ grills are available for outdoor cooking.

  • Dogs are welcome with advance approval and an additional pet fee. To help protect both pets and local wildlife, we ask that dogs remain leashed and supervised while on the property.

  • Gather under the café lights for s’mores, conversation, and Colorado dark skies. A simple ritual that tends to become the highlight of the stay.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Meadow Creek accommodates up to 16 overnight guests, including children. The property has seven bedrooms, 11 beds and seven bathrooms across the lodge and Cabin in the Meadow.

  • The guest accommodations and designated outdoor spaces are reserved for your group. Our caretakers live in a separate home on the property and are nearby if you need anything, while giving you privacy throughout your stay.

  • Yes. With advance approval, we welcome up to two well-behaved, house-trained pets. A pet fee of $25 per pet, per night applies. We ask that pets stay off the furniture and remain leashed and supervised outdoors for their safety.

  • If you’re considering a wedding, large dinner or other gathering, we’d love to hear more. Celebrations require advance approval, fees and involve separate event arrangements.

  • We can often accommodate an RV with advance approval. There are no water, electrical or sewer hookups, and anyone staying in the RV is included in the property’s total overnight guest count of 16. We’ll help you determine the best place to park before you arrive.

  • Meadow Creek is accessible year-round from Highway 285. Mountain weather can change quickly, so we encourage guests to monitor the forecast and arrive in a vehicle suited for snowy mountain roads between November-May.

    The driveway is also plowed following snowfall, and we do our best to clear and treat walkways before your arrival and during your stay.

  • Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m., and checkout is at 11:00 a.m. If your travel plans require a little more flexibility, please reach out in advance. Early arrival and late checkout are based on availability.
