Staunton State Park

Just minutes from Meadow Creek, Staunton State Park offers miles of scenic trails, mountain views, and rock formations. Whether you're looking for a leisurely walk or a full-day. hiking adventure, it's one of our favorite places to explore without traveling far from the property.

Red Rocks Ampitheater

35 MINUTES AWAY

Some places need no introduction. Located in the historic town of Morrison, Red Rocks Amphitheater draws visitors from around the world for concerts, hiking trails, and sunrise yoga class among towering sandstone formations. If you're visiting in between April and October, check the concert calendar before you arrive.

Evergreen

24 MINUTES AWAY

Evergreen offers a little bit of everything. Spend time on the lake, get a golf game in, browse local shops, enjoy live music at Little Bear Saloon, or stop by Black Fox Provisions before heading back to the lodge. If your visit overlaps with Mountain Music Fest or the Evergreen Lake Plunge, it's worth making a day of it.

All along Highway 285, you'll find some of our favorite local stops. Enjoy coffee and fresh pastries at Coffee Bean N Bakery, grab a craft beer and brick-oven artisan pizza at Snowpack Taproom & Pizzeria, or make the drive to the legendary Bucksnort Saloon, a historic mountain watering hole known as much for its stories as its atmosphere.

Ski Towns

90 MINUTES AWAY

Colorado's world-famous ski country is within reach. Breckenridge is just over an hour from Meadow Creek, making it possible for a day on the slopes. Keystone, Copper Mountain, Loveland, and Arapahoe Basin are also close enough for a day trip or as the next stop on your Colorado adventure.
